River of Ice

We recently had an ice storm... I lost power and heat for two days, but thankfully I got to escape it with a trip to NYC.

While waiting for the bus to come and pick us up at the train station, I went outside to photograph bits and pieces of the storm's wake.

This is actually a close-up of tree bark, entirely encased in ice.
